PolyComp can custom design a scoreboard to suite your sport. Our scoreboards range from a simple unit used in small indoor venues to Giant Electronic Video Displays used in large sporting stadiums and superbowls;

Each of the various sports require different display designs. PolyComp provides its knowledge and design capabilities to offer a suitable display.

For simplicity of operation, PolyComp offers a few methods of updating scoreboards:



A) A direct link to a PC with software. A PC is connected directly by a cable. This specialised software is used to update the names, scores, start/stop and reset watch.

B) Wireless link - 2 radios are used. One in the sign and another one at the PC. A pre-condition is that there should be a line of sight between the display and the operating computer. Affective distance is approximately 300m


C) Wireless link - A LCD keypad (radio link) is used. A receiver in the sign and transmitter in the handheld LCD Keypad. A pre-condition is that there should be a line of sight between the display and the LCD Keypad. Affective distance is approximately 80m
